The patchwork direction was developed in direct response to a market shift toward mixed-print, artisan-inspired aesthetics — a trend rooted in consumers' growing appetite for garments that feel individual and handmade, even at accessible price points.Rather than create literal patchwork — seamed panels of different fabrics — I interpreted the aesthetic through digital print, capturing the visual complexity and warmth of patchwork while maintaining the scalability and production efficiency of a standard textile repeat. Each print in the series layers multiple reference points — geometric blocking, floral micro-prints, global textile references like ikat and kilim — into a composition that reads as rich and considered without becoming visually chaotic.
